Is it really three months since our conference — and we’re just posting highlights now?  Here’s the message we want to convey: Yes, while Full Practice Authority for the Midwest region’s NP Entrepreneurs followed “consultative” and “side hustle” paths as often as the more traditional small NP-owned independent practices and businesses we see sprouting in east coast FPA states like CT and New Hampshire, a clear profile of what a sustainable indie NP-led practice will look like in a few years nonetheless emerged. Spoiler: the practice has no brick and mortar.  And participates in an NP Virtual Group that negotiates NP payment on an outcomes basis.  And NNPEN is there.

Thank you for making me feel so welcome at the conference. I have signed up for membership because I feel I have found a place in a group of others who understand the challenges and rewards of being an practice owner.  I had a really great time sharing and listening and look forward to attending the next conference with all of you.  Please pass on to Lorraine that I am especially glad she just asked me directly to join, that request sold me right there.
