Kathleen M. Kidder, MSN, FNP-CS, FAANP

Mrs. Kidder is a Family Nurse Practitioner in private practice.  She is the owner of Life Long Care of New London, PLLC which is an NCQA Certified Medical Home.  Life Long Care is the first nurse practitioner owned practice to be certified at a level three.  She no longer maintains an active practice, however, three other nurse practitioners continue with the practice which currently serves about 4000 patients in rural New Hampshire.

She is a member of the New Hampshire Board of Nursing as well as the Liaison Committee which serves to advise the BON in matters pertaining to NP practice.  She is active with the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association and has served as President.  She became a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2012. She is currently the AANP State Representative for NH.

She was recognized by NHNPA as NP of the Year in 2004.  She has also been the recipient of the UNH Alumni Association Award of Excellence for Outstanding Achievement in 2010 as well as the Excellence in Leadership Award from Sigma Theta Tau International in 2001.  She received the NHNPA Lifetime of Service Award in 2015.

She and Sean Lyon, FNP and author of the first NCQA recognition application, have presented much of the information regarding Medical Home in a variety of settings including Sigma Theta Tau meeting, Dover, NH; NAQC, Washington, DC; UMass-Lowell; NCQA, Chicago, IL.; AANP Specialty Conference, San Diego, CA.; AANP National Conference, San Antonio, TX.

Her most cherished accomplishment, however, is being “Grammie” to four of the most beautiful children in the world! They light up her world!
